In the state of GA do you have to have your weapon holstered when on your person or can you legally slide a revolver in your pocket?

I still prefer a thin pocket holster for comfort and I think it breaks up the profile a bit. I still occasionally drop my keys in the same pocket. Could be dangerous with no holster.

Seeing it in black and white would make me feel better not that I don't trust yaw at all.It's just fuzzy laws when you read them.Where would I find it in plain words about the holster? Thanks

Nothing fuzzy about it. SB308 did away with the holster requirement. Check out georgiapacking.org and click on the gun laws tab. Read all you want. 16-11-126 through 16-11-130 deal with carrying a weapon.

Am I right that any body that isn't a felon or prohibited to have pistol can carry even without a license now?That's how I interpret 16-11-126 part (a)

No. You have to have a GWCL to carry a weapon OC or CC.(Outside of your home, car, or business)

ok well that's where it's fuzzy 2 me.It states that any person not prohibited by law to own a weapon may carry ON his or her person OR inside home,auto,or place of business WITHOUT a valid license.So my ? would be am I misinterpretting it and what's the purpose of having a ccw if in fact it's like it says
