16-11-126(a) speaks to carrying in your home, car, place of business. You do not need a permit to carry in these places. It does not speak to carrying outside of these three places. 16-11-126(h)(1) speaks to needing a GWCL to carry anywhere not listed as an exemption in 16-11-126(a)-(g)

ok well that's where it's fuzzy 2 me.It states that any person not prohibited by law to own a weapon may carry ON his or her person OR inside home,auto,or place of business WITHOUT a valid license.So my ? would be am I misinterpretting it and what's the purpose of having a ccw if in fact it's like it says

you could always have a loaded gun at your home, car, or place of business (provided you own it or have permission) without a CCW

you need a CCW to carry concealed or open ga in public
