$749. I sold an Argentine model in .308 in very nice shape on consignment for someone a few years ago, and left more than a few drool stains on it. I appreciate this one as being a high quality weapon, but I'm having to work at getting excited about it, even if it is priced fairly.

I have one of these Century builds and it's hard for me to get excited about it as well. Mine has never been fired. It's cool but I would much rather have an original one and not one put together from spare parts. FN49's just hardly ever are for sale locally to check out. At least in my experience and I've lived in 4 states in the past 6 years.

I wouldn't pay more the $625 on the high end. And with it being so obviously miss matched I would offer less. Original egyptian ones sell for 7-750 so no need to pay original money for a mix master rifle.

Yeah but on the brite side my collection should be worth triple by some of these gun stores pricing.
