Char Cloth

Ran across this. probably already know it but I found it interesting.

I didnt watch the video, but and old cookie tin or candy tin, then cut up and old shirt, and you'll have a ton a ton of char cloth

Stick a nail in the end of a short piece of 3/4" copper pipe, hammer it flat, pull out the nail. Roll up a piece of denim and shove it in the pipe. Stick the open end in the mud to plug it, and throw it in the fire. When it gets hot enough it will start to smoke, then flame will shoot out of the nail hole. When it stops pull it from the fire and let it cool. The denim inside is now char cloth.

Old all cotton blue jeans make the best char cloth.
