I suspected that my gun was shooting a little low after seeing where the deer got hit this year on doe day. Took it to the range and it was about 1.25-inch low at 40 yards. Just a quick reminder to double check and make sure you are hitting where you aim.
Most of my shots are under 60 yards, so 40 zero is great for 7.62x39 round. I also noticed that the hot 8M3 HP ammo shot higher than the slower Hornady SST rounds I hunt with. Zero with your hunting round, especially if you use a 308.
