I saw some chatter at other places I visit mentioning this one and some 3 letter agencies. There is a digital trail a mile long if anyone was looking. Funny the things some people think are important.

I had a guy pay me with like 28 gift cards a couple years ago. The bill was only a few hundred dollars. There's a percentage charge for transactions run as credit and a flat per transaction fee for cards run as debit. Those cards run as credit anyway, so it shouldn't cost them any more than using one card. Just the time it takes to do 4 swipes instead of one. As a business person, I don't care how I get the money as long as i get it. I wouldn't give it a second thought if you gave me 4 gift cards.
