city pawn in Carrollton

a smaller 16g shell jammed down the barrel from the chamber. could've made for a bad day especially if someone had just chambered a round & fired it.

any members in the West Ga area may want to reconsider buying any firearms from city pawn in Carrollton. one, despite having a ccw permit they still made me go through the background check & took almost an hour, two, the shotgun i purchased dos not fire nor eject the shells. im stuck with either a wall hanger or another baseball bat now as they just said oh well. not our problem. anyway im just letting you guys know my experience there today before you go in & get screwed also. everyone have a nice night!
That pawn shop sucks. Their customer service sucks everything about it sucks beware visited more than once just to make sure I wasn’t having a bad day.

Several years ago I was in a pawn shop and asked to see a .380. Guy took it out, cleared it properly and handed it to me. I flipped around to check the rifling and lol and behold there was a .32acp round in the barrel. The counter guy was mortified. He wasn't the person that took the pawn and had never handled the pistol. But he raised holy hell at everyone working there that day.

the extractor was broken on the above mentioned shotgun, so i took it apart. good thing it was broken. the live shell was chambering like it was supposed to just nit ejecting. upon taking the barrel off, i found this lodged down in the barrel. it has been in there for sometime as you can see by the corrosion. good thing i didn't fire it. God watches out for us sometimes i reckon or i might have been really downrange! I'll never buy a gun of any kind there again.
DJD crisis averted 🙏

I got a LCP 2 from Cherokee Gun and Pawn. Ended up having a bad extractor. Called them, they told me to return it, either exchange for another one or full refund. It was in their clearance cabinet. Great folks.

In the end, I told them I was just letting them know, and I was going to fix it, little project, which I did. I mean the price was sub 200$.
