Sweet pick-up
Okay so this is the first time that I have traded 2 nice guns for 1 gun. I will miss the 19-5's, but I am very happy to bring this 27 into the family. Sorry the pics pretty much suck.
If anyone is interested, I am about to post another 2 for 1 trade. Offering 586 twins and looking for a 29-2 in 4" nickel or a 27-2 in 8 3/8 nickel. Can add cash on my end if need be.
Beautiful specimen
Picked up a beautiful little gem today at the gun show. Some guy walking around with a S&W box is always going to get my attention. Obviously the wrong box for this particular gun, but all the goodies were there and I really think this gun might be unfired condition. Very feint turn line and no powder residue, even in the places most people don't even think to clean.
In spite of the box being wrong (you all should know I'm NOT a box person anyways), I brought this little beauty home with me. As you can see by the date on the grips, June 19, 1985 was the year this thing became destined for my hands!
