Mine already had holster wear on it when I got it, so I never saw the harm. It belonged to a LEO in South Carolina and was his backup weapon that he carried in a leather holster every day. I don't think it was ever shot much, but the end of the barrel is a bit shiny on the sides. I think the box was put in the dresser drawer the day it was bought and never looked at until I bought it from him. This was in 1981 or 1982 I think. It's the only one I have without a J prefix. 60's are one of my favorites.
