I'm almost 100 percent certain that pm stands for paychmeyer. I have a 625-2 (1988) that left the factory with paychs, pretty sure it says pm on the box too.According to the end label it lists the stocks as" PM". Its a round butt up under that rubber. Cant picture smith letting paychmeyer rubber with a lion medallion in the middle leave the factory in their box. Notice the beveled cylinder face and wide hammer and trigger. Either way, im pleased with the purchase. And the guy I got it from had inherited it. Didnt like the kick, and wanted a Glock something. Glad to help him out.
I'm the one that likes the shiny onesI figured you'd like that one...it's shiny.
