Classic wheel gun porn....

This is a 4-screw (fourth screw on trigger guard) S&W Model 27 3 1/2" in nickel lettered to 3-14-1960. Stocks match.

I have a 66-1 that dates to my birth year by SN...how do y'all find ones by date shipped? have to be lettered?
A letter is one that is issued by the S&W Historical Foundation (today). A ship date can be guessed with the S&WSC (a book) or from Roy Jinks.

PM me and I'll tell you my best guess. The letters are $100 today (were $45-$50).

Jinks isn't doing the letters anymore?

It looks like a 1978/1979 in the 4th Edition. Nonetheless, it is a pinned and recessed barrel. You have a 19-4? The P&R revolvers are always more valuable.

Roy is moving forward in his retirement. He has moved back his day-to-day activities. He is over 80+ years old.

You guys need to join the S&W Collectors Assoc. (S&WCA) to get the best news. I will have some extra different issues of the SWCA Journal available (for free) at ODT 2022. Just don't say where you got them. ;)
