Thanks. I've seen you around the forums, but I just found out about this place. Liking it quite a bit. I've been very tempted to snag some of your Smiths. That recent 27-2 with a couple wear marks was very tempting.

That was a nice piece for sure....Im already missing it. It went to a good home though....probably for too little of money.

No reason really. They're both fairly new acquisitions and I figured S&W may be busy so I haven't put much thought in to it. I may not ever have it done.

Since the modification is done under a recall S&W does the work for free. They even pay for the shipping both ways. The only issue is the time away for the repair.

This photo is a GREAT illustration of how close the cylinder is to the rear of the frame when the cylinder is recessed for the cartridges.
