Classic wheel gun porn....

Nice trigger finger management! Well done, Dad!

Although I would say the "flash zone" is a bit cluttered. You might want to sterilize that area a bit to help the young shooter not be distracted by her visual periphery!

Bang! Bang! Bang! Much fun!
Oh, and go find some bowling pins to shoot at. Young kids (girls in particular) get a real charge out of making those things fly around when they hit them. It's more trips down range, but the conversation while walking to and fro just adds to the overall experience!
She loves it, that's her new 625 JM. Her match gun is a 986 Pro Series, and we work on "distraction" to help her with fsf in a match.

Finally!!! After years of looking I have my new to me S&W 629 3" round butt. This is a dash 1 made in 1986. Has original grips, box and documents :) this is going to be my new range/woods/hunting/bear defense/ scare the piss out of new shooters revolver. This is one to keep and be passed down. Glocks come and go but Smiths are usually here to stay, and I for sure know this one is. So happy :)

Very nice, congrats and thanks for sharing.

My middle daughter calls revos "Old Folks" guns. Especially with those "moon thingy". Her youngest sister shoots revolver, I taught both of them early on with revolver, and have to say among all guns the revolver is my favorite. From a fundamentals approach, your trigger control is better when you practice DAO with a revo. I'm getting a little longer in tooth, but have passed the love of wheel guns along.

Awesome! Great training ground. Keep up the great work with the girls.

I have to wonder however, if that finger in the picture was actually meant as a not-so-subliminal message to ME for my prior comments. I can't really make out which finger it is, but I get the point! LOL!

Nope, that's me being tech useless. Most pics and videos end up with a finger covering the lens.

Should we start a new thread or do it in here?
I simply want to know how many

I thought you always ran the little 3" jframe you showed me. Or was that what your wife preferred?

If you mean that Three-inch Fixed-sight Model 60 with the Factory-bobbed Hammer, that was my "Nightstand Gun" for a good while, but I carried it sparingly--Missus' 3-5-7 carries a Model 642 LadySmith and HER "Nightstand Gun" is a Model 60 LS--Notice a recurring theme?... :) ....mikey357

Wish I would have traded on that model 60...
