I have plenty of "shooters" that get used regularly; however I believe future generations have the right to see something that is NIB. This is why the ones I have in said condition will stay that way.
New in the box never fired 45lc 45 ACP should I shoot it or not???

This is a lipsey's distributor special I've only ever seen one other and I don't own it.
If it's that rare, I'd say keep it that way. I'm sure you have another 45 SA you can shoot.
