Clearwater/Tampa/St Pete fishing spots??

I will be in the Clearwater/Tampa area next week on business and would like to find some easy to access spots for some evening fishing. Any recommendations??

Used to fish at Fort Desoto when lived in Tampa and always enjoyed it but I must admit I haven't been down there in years so I'm not sure of the current conditions.

Check out the Skyway Pier. Have never been there but they catch some big fish from there.
