Wow, did you even read that page? I'm guessing no.
Everything so far has stated that the animal was a "service dog". You have not shown that is wasn't a service dog (trained to help with a disability) only that it is likely the dog was being used for PTSD (which wouldn't demote the dog if it had received service training). You also don't know for sure that the dog wasn't performing a service, you are assuming it wasn't.
Just because you quote a site, and use it out of context, doesn't mean you are instantly right.

I agree, I am in there all of time and wouldn't think of his Doberman as a guard dog, just a pet. Also the Doberman is only there when Andrew is there. The current Doberman is Kit #3. Kit #1 was an FBI service dog. The original owner of Kit #1 is dead now. Before he died, he got Kit #2 in memory of Kit #1. When the owner died, Kit #2 went to the pound and Andrew adopted her. After Kit #2 died Andrew got Kit #3 which is said to be the current "Guard Dog".
Also everyone employee in the store is carrying a gun, so why is a "Guard Dog" needed?

Doesn't Clyde's have a Doby in the store? I'm not a fan but I'd bet there is more to this story.
Yes, only when he is there too. If Andrew leaves the store, so does the Doby.

He also missed this even though he quoted it and still assumes the guy has the dog for PTSD instead of (or including) physical injuries/disabilities.
i've had several encounters with clyde's doberman. they are very proud of the money they spent on that dog. buying from a breeder and getting it trained to deter shop lifters and such. three times i was there the dog kept sniffing me and had it's hackles up. being as i smell like 14 other dogs, i understood. but they shouldn't just let it wander around the store like they do, unleashed. i've seen that dog lunge at people a few times unprovoked. and the employees don't even apologize for it one bit
as for this particular incident. they should have removed their dobie. i understand if they were a business that sells high end electronics and are worried about pple making off w/the goods. but they are an FFL dealer. nobody is stupid enough to rob an FFL dealer in the middle of the day. the customer should have been allowed to keep his service dog with him while he was shopping.
have never bought much from clyde's and won't ever again. this is just absurd
