CMMG AR's any good?

What's the reputation with these guns. I think some have had issues with them in the past. I'm looking at a factory built gun. Thanks

They were very popular a few years ago, aimsurplus sold them before they switched to Spikes. I have one of their lowers and 11.5" barrels, no issues with thousands of rounds through it.

I have used their parts without issue. Have never had a full rifle made by them.

In the hierarchy of ARs, they're usually considered to be mid-level...above the Remington/bushmasters, deltons, dpms, but not in the upper echelon of noveske, Daniel defense, colt, bcm, etc.

I view them about the same as stag or rock river.

Of course, this is all based on reputation and no actual experience with this manufacturer so take this with a grain of salt.

I agree, except with your placement of bcm. I have no experience with bcm. More reading needed by me.

BCM is probably making the best rifle available at any price right now.
