Saturday, April 22nd at the Talladega Marksmanship Park 10:00 am: The John C. Garand Match is the CMP's most popular CMP Games event held during the National Matches. The course of fire is 15 shots slow-fire prone (first 5 shots are sighters); 10 shots rapid-fire prone; 10 shots slow fire standing. All shot from 200 yards. 11:00 am: The Springfield match is one of the CMP's most popular events. All competitors use a M1903 Springfiled. The course of fire is 15 shots slow-fire prone (first 5 shots are sighters); 10 shots rapid-fire prone; 10 shots slow fire standing. All shot from 200 yards. 12:00 am: The Vintage Military Rifle match is one of the CMP's most popular events. All competitors use a M1903 Springfiled. The course of fire is 15 shots slow-fire prone (first 5 shots are sighters); 10 shots rapid-fire prone; 10 shots slow fire standing. All shot from 200 yards. Entry fee is $20 per match, and $15 for juniors. An overall 3-gun aggregate (Garand, Springfield, Vintage Military) plague will be awarded. Provided by the West Georgia youth Range Associate. This is the 3rd year a 3-gun winner will be awarded the West Georgia plaque, and the 2nd year at the Talladega Marksmanship Park.
