CMP Talladega Range Question

Going out there this week for the first time, has anyone been out there lately. And do you think they'll throw a fit about braced pistols on the range?

Last time I was there my 11.5” 556 pistol was only allowed on the unknown steel range. I don’t know about pistol carbines shouldn’t be a deal tho for the pistol range.

So unknown range ok but the set rifle range no?

If it doesn’t have a stock it’s not allowed on the rifle ranges but you can shoot ‘em on the unknown steel range just take the range finder good to go.

Was this after the whole atf announcement or before. That's my main concern, some Fudd or rso having a ****fit after we drive out there.

I was down there last year around February I’d just call em if you’re worried bout it. They are very helpful over the phone.

They are only allowed on the unknown distance range

If bringing an AR pistol, make sure your sights are dialed in prior.
The close in steel targets aren't big and hard/impossible to see where any hits land.
The other rifle ranges are great to sight in but again unfortunate that we are unable to shoots AR pistols at those other two.

I enjoyed the unknown distance range the most.

I'm unable to speak to any other potential new rules regarding pistols.
I went about 5 months ago for the first time. Cant wait to go again.
