Color filling a polymere framed gun

I'd like to color fill the lettering on a poly frame gun,. Can I use a NON acetone polish remover on this without damaging the finish

Just clean it and use Testors paint for permanent, or Crayons if you don't want it permanent. How much color fill are you doing!? Lol

i tried it once on my match rifle. Turned out ok. Now, I pretty much hate color fill. Looks to cheap when I see it now.

I know some of you will laugh, but crayons work well. I was a sceptic until I color filled my 15-22 lower. Did it 3 years ago and it's still there. Easy to remove with a nylon brush.

A lot of people don't like color fill. Even if you want it permanent, go with the crayon method first to try it out for awhile. That way if you change your mind, or choose to sell it...

Thanks, maybe I will try the crayon method first. But I'd still like to know if the Non acetone polish remover would mar the polymere finish .

I use the paint in soviets thread. REM oil and a tooth brush takes it off.
