I don't know that mediocre would be fair to describe the Colt, but they are no better than average. These prices are showing what they should have been all along.

Nothing beats the $799 LE6920SOCOM deal from earlier in the year though.

"Average" seems to be doing just fine for the last 50 years or so.
I can't thing of anything a $1600+ AR does in the same configuration that is "exceptional".
