Well, the 2016 Alabama State IDPA Championships are in the books and I racked up a 10th Place finish out of 11 in the CDP Expert Division...I racked up too many points down. On the upside, waited until the last stage of the day to hit my only Non-threat target and had no Procedures all day which is something special for me. I took some questionable risks on a few stages and it cost me..All in all my second Sanctioned match in the division wasn't what I planned for it to be but I had a great time with the guys from Mumford Coldwater Shooting Sports.

Nicely done. I'm gonna have to sign up for one of those sometime this summer. I shoot IDPA just about every week, but it's all indoors and not quite as great as that. Still a lot of fun though. And the more experienced guys have taught me quite a bit.
