I just clicked on a members name to look at some of his content. Instead of showing me his ads it takes me back to our conversation where he tells me to check out a couple of pistols he has for a trade. Also I have noticed lately that some of the private messages I have sent appear on the public forum. Just passing it along.

Well previously when you clicked on content it showed what the other member was selling or had previously sold. I wasn’t reporting that as being public just that I could not pull up Eli’s content and view the pistols he was attempting to trade.
I will find some messages that showed up on a public forum that were supposed to have been private.

They aren't appearing in public. YOU can see interactions that YOU have permissions for, i.e., PM's you are involved in. That's exactly what was shown in the pic you posted earlier. It's new to the current update, but it's nothing to be concerned about.

PM=Private Message. When there is doubt that one's PM's on the ODT are not necessarily "private" then there is a huge erosion of trust.

I have no problem with PM's being reviewed to settle a misunderstanding between traders, or to qualify details regarding a failed meet providing both parties are aware of the action. But to think that ODT staff and Mods. can look at PM's to ease the boredom, or to get a laugh, is unconscionable.

Management needs to address this now, before the rot sets in.

VHinch is correct, and as a former resident of Hotel Mod, I can assure you that even if they could, they have far better things to do than troll the masses' PM's.

If the mods were reading my PMs I would have been perma banned long ago. I'm a kinder gentler B13 now though.
