I'm gonna go with LCP in the pocket on this one. I have tuckable holsters and have used them in that capacity with a Glock 19 and a Walther PPS. I'll go that route for church or out on the town or something, but not at work. No way. Pocket or ankle is the only way to go at work, IMO.

EDIT: substitute an Airweight j-frame if you wear your dress pants a little baggy (like too many men do...). In dress pants that fit well, a j-frame is a pretty big bulge though.

I'm not going to "settle" for a smaller pistol that has less effective ammo, fewer rounds, is harder to manipulate, & is less accurate... especially under stress.
Since, in most civilian environments my pistol is my primary I want to have the biggest gun with the most ammo I can carry discreetly.

Plus while pocket carry is faster than leaving it at home it has several tactical disadvantages that I dislike.

However I do understand that some people's work (or rather the consequences of being discovered with a firearm) requires either unorthodox carry or unfortunately sometimes no carry at all.

Which is understandable. Hence my last sentence in the earlier post.

I was just trying to suggest that "pocket or ankle carry" was not the only way to go for everyone.

I wear a tuckable N82 in appendix carry all day every day with a good gun belt.

Vest is a great option I often utilize. Vests are a great option in the cool-cold times of the year and many options out there for office attire. IWB for tucked-in office dress is just a pain in the tail. Good luck!

I used the Sneaky Pete magazine pouches, look good, small profile for church or business casual back when I dressed that way. In fact, years ago I had a boss temporarily ban firearms from the office due to one pussies (one out of 25 employees) complaint about the rest of the guys (all male office). I switched to a Sneaky Pete holster and mag pouch and it was never commented on until a particularly disturbed employee was fired and I was called into the bosses office and he asked if I still kept a pistol in my car and I smiled and popped open my Sneaky holster and said "I never stopped carrying" to which he replied "Good" keep it with you.

No less than 7 of my employees there are still members here that I introduced to shooting.
