This NFA stuff is confusing.

Do I have to get the trust approved first, sent back, and then do a form 4, or can I do it all at once?

You can do it all at once with silencer shop. If your doing the trust yourself it will have to be notarized.

Your trust doesnt get approved beforehand. Filing your Form is the test. If it comes back approved you know its good. If its comes back rejected usually they tell you what you need to fix. I made my own trust as well as the post 41F amendment and have gotten approvals on Form 1 and Form 4

They snap a photo
Give copy of trust if no trust carry on
You get email to sign form with your finger
Wait 7-12 months
You get notified it’s approved
Pick it up
Enjoy
