Constitutional Carry in Georgia

No, but after the demographics of Georgia change a little more, the anti-gun party will repeal this with properly- passed amendments to the law. I mean bills that will go through the Ga. House and the Senate and be signed by the then-governor .

The progressive Dems will probably add a mandatory training requirement and insurance policy purchase requirement for any carry license.
Give it 6-9 years, then Georgia will change our laws to start copying
New York and Commiefornia.
What is more likely to happen is that they will start making places off limits. They will start with repealing preemption so local governments can make their property off limits. Now, you will have no way to know you are even violating the law unless you hire an attorney to research the local ordinances of every city and county where you plan to visit. Failing that you will only know you are violating the law when officers point guns at you and start screaming incomprehensible stuff and conflicting commands (after all, they have probable cause, which means you are a criminal about to be arrested, and you are armed, so this is an arrest of an armed criminal during a crime in progress).

Then they will start making it a crime again to carry in many of the places we won over the last 17 years, starting with the most recent changes like colleges, and working their way back, unless they have a large majority, in which case they may just dive in and repeal almost all of them at once.

But, hey, you won't need a license to carry, and so we call that "constitutional carry." LOL! The joke is on you.

Now watch and see of the Republicans bother to repeal any of the places off limits that still exist in our criminal laws, like K-12, the Capitol, polling locations, government buildings, courthouses . . .

The answer will be "No! We gave you 'constitutional carry,' so you should be happy."

SB319 was the death of any future progress on repealing crimes regarding where one may carry a gun.

Still gotta have one to travel and carry outside of GA to many states. Still gotta have one to bypass the background check on 4473's.
You are referring to the states that don't reciprocate GA carry laws, correct? A GA Carry license has no benefit to those states. That didn't change with this Constitutional Carry law.

Oh, what ever are those private sellers going to do that demand to see a carry license in order to make the transaction?
Will they remain fascists and want to see an out dated, irrelevant document?
