Thinking about it a new caliber isnt new to me. I do have a PPK in .380 and a AK-47 variant..... they dont get shot much though lol

I'm hoping you meant .308, but an RPK in .380 is an interesting idea!

Yeah Ive seen something about a certain part being recommended and the need to tune it. What do you recommend?

Gas jets. It's a small allen head set screw with a hole through it to restrict gas. You can get a whole set for a few bucks.

yes the Scar is pricey. Yes the military passed on it. It is the best 308 semi auto I ever owned. Zero regrets

7.62x 51 is a great caliber and I'll never sell my FAL but 6.5 G is my go-to for longer range.
