Yeah I agree. I wish it wasnt so expensive. I want to say they used to be sub 3k at one point but maybe I'm mistaken.

When they first came out, they could be had for $2800-2900. But right around $3000. I loved mine, was a great rifle for a sub 3k pricetag. But for 4k, I'd have to pass on it every time.

The somewhat common complaint that they break optics would be a deal breaker for me. I'm tempted to get a 308 LMT
