I'll be glad when we can pick our noses again. Haven't touched my face in a month

Isn’t Albany where all those folks went to church even though they were recommended not to?

No that was in Louisiana somewhere
Albany had two large funerals in late February early March and that’s where it got going
Lots of handshaking and hugging and crying at funerals

The pastor that preached the eulogy at one funeral died from covid

Poor management leads to poor results. Yes they are busier than normal and like with any business how you adapt to the increase in demand directly impacts the results you get. I don't expect any hospital to admit that if they had taken different steps at the beginning they would be in a better position but if the population in a particular area has a large amount of at risk individuals they should have been preparing weeks ago to be ready for the increase. Fortunately from the article you posted it sounds like no patient is without a bed or being denied care. They made no mention if they were using up there ventilators so i'm assuming they are also well supplied there as well.

The hospital in Albany is not poorly managed
They had almost a normal years worth of supplies in their warehouse.

They have moved a lot of covid patients to other nearby hospitals
