Pretty sure he didn’t say that. He’s implying the number 3 weeks ago was actually much higher than the official 100 number stated. Exponentially more tests means exponentially more confirmed cases.

There are many different measurements of "fast"... 70 mph is fast.... 570 mph is also "fast" ...
This is spreading very fast here in the US... But the numbers presented were a bit deceiving as we did not started testing in bulk until very recently..

Almost 300 people in the U.S. have died form the disease thus far, according to researchers.
61,000 died in the US from the flu in 2017. Globally around 500,00 a year. Not much for posting on forums but the numbers don't work.
