If you can take the time, purchasing meat from a butcher is the best bet. I can get an $80 sirloin roast and cut 15 steaks out of it. Not to mention the chicken quality far exceeds any grocery store brands.

I'm starting to get real weird about my chicken.....I don't buy grocery store chicken anymore...BUT it's just me, so the cost is what I choose it to be....

they still "blade tenderize"....and everybody just goes crazy about Costco meat.....I just do not get it...no big deal...just cook your $50 ribeye to 165....
