I have a Schofield in 45 LC and a 3.5 Sheriffs model in 45 LC.

Might I suggest either a High Standard Double Nine? 22lr, easy and cheap to shoot, it looks SA but has DA capability. Accurate guns too.

Ruger Single Six is also a great 22lr that can add a WMR cylinder.

Another vote for Ruger but the gun manufacturers others have mentioned, they are solid choices also from what I have seen/read.
