So I was out in the woods the other day checking on my bait block, not really being very quiet about it either. After I inspected it to my satisfaction I made my way back over to my stand when I started to hear something running through the leaves getting louder and louder, flipped the safety off on my AR and spun around in a ready to fire position and sure enough a very large and might I say healthy little yote was coming at me at a frightening speed. Obviously I unleashed 5.56 hell on his ass but my concern was the fact that this was broad daylight and I know that they are very elusive creatures, is it common for them to charge like this? Maybe rabid? Any input or thought would be appreciated
