CPM 20SV Steel

Anyone have any experience with this type of steel? Looking to get a Benchmade Griptilian in this, thanks.

Yea now they come in G10 as well. I'm not getting the "nylon" which is just plastic.

Yea I just cut rubber hose and serrated makes it a little easier.

No worries. Its an incredible steel. Metallurgically similar to Bohler m390 and Carpenter CTS-204P. In fact we heat treat them almost the same. It's tough, takes a keen edge and holds it well, and is pretty abrasion resistant. Really a win-win material.

Ok thanks. It would only make it $30 more. It sounds like it would be worth it.
