Seriously though get you some minnows and a float and in about a month and a half start hitting the docks around the lake. We tear them up every year at Allatoona doing this. Summer time find some deep water structure and get you some float lights and prepare to sit up all night. Get with me this summer if you want to go.

You need to own a boat for more than two days to catch them.

Crappie, fine cut cole slaw, french fries or Texas fries, tarter sauce, cocktail sauce with a heaping table spoon of horse radish, and Texas Pete hot wing sauce, a pitcher of sweet tea, and Key Lime / Lemon PIE.

Then an afternoon nap, now that's a weekend delightful lunch/dinner...

Add a slice of a sweet Vidalia onion to nibble on and achieve perfection

I long line troll thru about end of March then I start shooting docks until it gets to hot to be out there.
They just like bass they travel the whole lake.i caught fish in January that were suspended 15to 25 ft in 70 ft of water go back after 3 warmer days and they would be moved to 8to 12 ft water.give it about 3 weeks and they should be in all the coves.pitch minnows under a cork around the blowdowns and you should catch a mess.
