I'm right handed, just left eye dominate, and I have 2 nephews that are the same way.

That's because they never practice, and it's basically a right handed world.

I have some right handed nephews that practice shooting left handed. Sometimes a right handed shot just isn't feasible.

For realz though. Freedom and triplestack3 solution seemed to have worked for my cousin.
A cheap eye patch and practice. (Live fire or dry fire)

I may try to shoot left handed sometime. I do practice left handed single handed shooting with my pistol.
