Are you thinking what I think you're thinking? Car batteries?
No, I am thinking UPS. I have a crap ton of them in my warehouse, several that will run a server rack for a couple of hours. Don't know what kind of drain the cpap machine draws, but we might be able to run it off of a UPS for 7 hours. Of course, you will have to either disconnect the alarm, or live with a beeping sound every 10 seconds.
Some of the big ones won't turn on or auto shut off without a certain load on them.
OHMS law can be a *****hmmm. I didn't think about that. I know I have some little ones that can run my fridge for about 4 hours. I already tried daisy chaining them for longer life, THAT was pretty much disasterous.
