On the heels of the daily dinner thread, starting a new thread for us morning folk that have time for breakfast. My wife and I work from home. I am blessed that she brings me a plate every morning! As I'm aging, I'm finally learning that food affects how I feel. So there's a low carb and healthy approach lately. Feel free to share your breakfast, even if it is a bowl of roof of mouth terrorist, Cap N' Crunch.

I'm not a strict traditionalist. Love my bacon, eggs and grits, or sausage gravy/ biscuits, but usually it's last night's dinner leftovers. Pork chop and horseradish sauce sandwich on a toasted hamburger bun this morning. Sorry, no pics, dun et it.
We sometimes use leftovers and say "just crack an egg on it and call it breakfast" 😄

Spent the last 2 nights at the Hampton Inn in Gwinnett County while working in the area. Yesterday breakfast was the crappy scrambled eggs and mystery meat sausage. By the middle of the day my digestive system was telling me to find a bathroom right now. I wasn't going to repeat that today. This morning I reverted to something I would regularly do when hotel breakfast spread included boiled eggs. 2 Pieces of wheat toast and 2 sliced boiled eggs. A little salt and pepper and boom, boiled egg sandwich. Very tasty and fairly healthy.

Got me a pound of Jimmie Dean sausage, a quart of milk, and a lot of flour, pepper, and butter.
Gonna fix up a load of sausage gravy to put on some (sorry, purists) canned biskits for breakfast tomorrow.
With Irish coffee, of course.
You had me at Irish Coffee. Best way to start the day.
