Well we've covered this one a time or two before. Turns out there ain't no neg cutoff point. And I have to agree with the mods and their theory on that. It's a free forum and supposedly grown folks can post pretty much whatever they like. If they don't honor their word then it's a matter of public record. If YOU (as that supposed grown up) choose to deal with them then that's on YOU. AND...if they were banned permanently then they would just make up a new username and start all over again with a clean slate. Right about here you should think back to all them Scout Masters ( and priests) in the 90s that got caught doing the Diddy with young boys. So they just moved a few states away and kept right on Diddying.
Now...with all that being said I will acknowledge that a neg can happen to ANYONE. Like my experience on eBay many years ago I can tell you with certainty that sooner or later you WILL run into that one jagoff that wants to **** your score way more than he wants his $5.00 item. So far it hasn't happened to me and I hope it doesn't. My ODT feedback is all I got. Don't ask about my credit score. But I deal with guys with one or two negs all the time. I just consider who it is/ what it is and how much I stand to possibly lose. I ain't been wrong so far.
Now as far as that double digit neg member you mentioned...well as I've said before we as a country are looking at shame in the rearview mirror.

It's hard to get a negative to stick here. It pretty much means you made a deal, agreed to a meet, then ghosted and have done nothing to make it right.

I was trying to leave a little room for benefit of the doubt. I know a couple guys here with 1-2 negs and are great guys. Just had something happen.

All of my transactions here have been pleasant ones and never any discrepancies. I've met alot of great folks here.

That's a damn disgrace. I've had too many GOOD guys on here do **** for me out of pocket to just play fast and loose like that. This is a community of give and take. And I don't wanna be that guy that shows up to the party with no beer weed or liquor. You know?
There's a local member here that has helped me fill not one but three freezers with deer every year since around 2019 . I have nowhere to hunt and could NOT do that on my own. And he doesn't ask for **** in return. Sometimes I feel bad since I don't even know what he could use. But if I figure it out he's damn well getting it.
If someone here posts up an ad for something (usually AR parts) that they need I go check my parts drawer. If I got it I mail it out. Cause if it's in the drawer then I ain't using it. So I figure send it on to someone who needs it. That's how it's supposed to work.

I have had members go waaaay out of the way to help me before as well. I had one member give me some hard to find ammo and wouldn’t take any in return. So I pay it forward every chance I get.
