Put a threaded barrel and optics cut on there and I'd be in.

I think this is where "2011" are headed. 2011 top end, lower that takes common mags and a 2011 trigger. There is the 3211 or whatever it is called as well. This is just the beginning.
Really interested in this as it develops. would love to see it in a "compact" (po1 size frame / commander slide) and threaded barrel.
I handled one at outdoor depot in Gainesville. I like the feel of it. The barrel lockup is definitely more CZ75 like than a 2011. The slide to frame fit and trigger were not what I would expect from a $2000 CZ but after a few thousand rounds it will smooth up.
I think I will try one when they are available at discount if they make weight and size in IDPA ESP.

I have no niche for the DWX. I would love to have one, but not sure what I would do with it other than shoot targets at a range. For that size and weight, it has a lot of competition from pistols a small fraction of the cost. In a real-life scenario, what significant advantage does it offer over a Glock 17? I guess one could make the same argument comparing a Timex watch to a Rolex.
