Dang it, My batteries are dead on the boat.

Yep. We tried to tell him. I just know things aren't the same as you get older. Things do happen. And in water, that could be final
We were at our Weiss Lake getaway last week and Saturday a 3 year old little girl went missing and 3 hours later was found in the lake, sad day for the family. Folks, got to keep an eye on those little ones. The can get away quick. Tragic.

That puts life in perspective in a powerful way.
That’s a lot of destroyed lives right there. There is no coming back from losing a child.

Yes, very sad. A group of families were close by for a birthday party and dropped everything and started searching, good folks there, just wish the outcome was better. Prayers for that family, they are tore apart.

Hopefully it'll never be needed. Too hard for my fat ass to get on and off the boat to test it.
One day we're fishing the river down by my house here for muskie. Had to go back and do something on the motor cuz I wasn't happy with the way it was idling. On the way back to the front my knee gave way and I fell right in the river with no life jacket on. Thankfully my mother put me through swim lessons most of my childhood so I'm pretty good in the water. With my weight though trying to get back in the boat was like trying to pull Jaws up into a canoe. 🤣🤣

It is tragic if it can be simply prevented. I don't like wearing extra stuff either. But as a heart patient, I know things can go wrong that you have no control over. That's the stuff I'm talking about

Well, I put my new batteries in this morning and got em on the charger. Hopefully tomorrow we'll get some fishing in. :)

Fully drained. Gonna have to get new batteries since when you fully drain them it ruins the batteries. Don't want to get stuck on the water. So I'm gonna have to wait another week before I have the cash to purchase batteries. :pout:

I need to focus on one hobby. I waste too much money on stuff I don't even need.

I always leave my four bank charger plugged in. If your batteries do not last long anymore you could gave a bad battery. When you get back from lake before charging put volt meter on batteries. Mine read 2.9. 2.9. 2.9 2.1 voila the bad battery
