Dang it, My batteries are dead on the boat.

Fully drained. Gonna have to get new batteries since when you fully drain them it ruins the batteries. Don't want to get stuck on the water. So I'm gonna have to wait another week before I have the cash to purchase batteries. :pout:

I need to focus on one hobby. I waste too much money on stuff I don't even need.

What's with the sissy seafood tongs? You got some sort of thumb and forefinger disability? :)

Seriously, regarding the battery: One full discharge isn't the death of a battery. If your boat has a good digital charger, they'll come back up to charge. Carry a portable jumper box on the boat if it makes you nervous. If they're well into their lifespan, maybe you can justify replacing them now, but if they still take and hold a charge, keep using them.

Try recharging it. I've drained batteries and they've charged right back up. Like rbstern rbstern said get a jumper and carry it with you and a battery tender to keep it charged when you're not using it. Being out on the water I'd carry a spare battery just in case

That is why I was told always buy the cheapest battery you can get away with because you will need one every year .
Even when I had my little bass boat (small - aluminum 12’ ) I went through one each year !! Even using a battery tender.
