Another option, Clyde's Armory has complete DD MK18 SBR's for $1200. Go pick up a trade-in Aimpoint from their optics counter and you have yourself one helluva set-up for pretty cheap.

Brownell's had these uppers on sale a month or so back for $699.

The Brownells versions are from the custom shop with different markings and doesn’t include the OEM BCG, Charging handle and Flash Hider. This one was complete and BNIB locally for the price they go for in here used...

Additionally the $699 version was a stripped M4A1 14.5” stripped version without the aforementioned items. The Mk 18 stripped version is this one ...

I’ve purchased 2 DD’s from Clyde’s before they have a great selection. However the SBR DD MK 18’s are the used police and military trade ins. With the Pistol Brace options available now ... why would you even add a $200 tax stamp to the bill for a used MK 18... ?

Got both versions Factory direct complete DD Mk 18 and 1 stripped from Brownells and it cost me a bit more to complete it than this $999 one..

SBR'S still have a place. No need for debate on that here.

Yes. They are GBI trade-ins. The majority of which were very lightly used and a good number looked un-used.

Can one put a pistol brace on before buying the mk18 and it not have to be sold as an sbr?
