$700 is a lot of money to a lot of people nowadays. A $200 job has turned into double or triple and a lot of people out there are hurting.

Try to be understanding friend. There are many many people on limited incomes and a hit like that can be life altering.

They have to choose food/medicine or being mobile. That’s tough. 🥺🥺😢

A 72yr old single female friend of my wife's was having misfire problems with her SUV. She took it to Advance and they gave her the printout saying it had a bad cylinder 5 coil pack. She took the car to her shop she had the car regularly serviced at for years. They told her $600. She left and came to me to get it checked. I scanned it and went to the store and spent $40 for the coil. I then called her over to explain to her what they were going to charge her $600 for.
Pull the beauty cover off the top of the engine.
This coil pack was easy access right in the front with two 10mm bolts.
Pulled the old pack out
Put the new pack in
Tighten both 10mm bolts
Replace beauty cover
The job took 15 minutes.

That lady was mad as hell and she said she was leaving to go give them a piece of her mind.

I hope she stuck a pitchfork in his butt too.....

They quoted her $1700 to
Change front brake pads
Flush brake fluid
Change front rotors
Change 4 plugs

The guy told her the reason her brake fluid was so dark is because she had algae in the system from water. WTF!!

Why do shops always trey to rip off single women with their cars. Assholes!

Buy the parts and send her down to Griffin. My wife and kids will help do the job.
