Deadly Stings

Got nailed yesterday on my back shoulder blade area by a light brown wasp.
I just walked by my carport and it nailed me good.
Stayed stinging me for a good five seconds before it pulled out.
Bastard left a silver dollar sized welt.
Painful but went away after about 15 min.
I doused their nest and about five other active nests under the carport.

Thank you for posting this list. The kids and I were watching one of those fuzzy red ants the other day as it crossed the driveway. I wasn't sure of what it was at the time but am now glad we squished it before going in.

They don't call them "cow killers" without good reason.

Never heard anyone refer to them as "fuzzy" - usually people refer to them by invoking the condemnation of the Deity.

yup got tagged in the webbing between big toe and the next saturday while walking barefoot in the yard. no clue what the **** it was but holy hell did it hurt. Wife just saw me jumping around outside cussing up a storm.

Some how I have been avoiding stings this year, my dog took a black wasp sting right on the nose last week
