Terrible either way. I knowing my son's 9th grade year was a tough one.

If the young guy was terminal then that's just an terrible hand dealt by life. Prayers to the family.

Those years are so hard on kids. This is so sad and most likely preventable in so any ways. No parent should have to bury a child.

Apparently he was being bullied

Rumor is that one of the other students has since been arrested and another student has fled town along with his parents

They take the bullying very seriously nowadays and I'd
Like to think that If the student had mentioned it to someone in admin it would have been dealt with

Sucks to hear the news. No doubt what we think is important can quickly change when we look at others around us who have to bury their kids or deal with an illness. High School can be tough and its easy for adults to look at things and think they are petty but to those walking that road. My heart goes out to his family and his friends left behind.

Was this at the Jason Aldean/Fl GA line concert?

Yes. The guy was only 19, showed up at the concert with friends.
We asked the one of the officer HOW he managed to hang himself in the stall without anyone around seeing it because I was right beside the kid as he dying and didn't know. The officer said he couldn't talk about that part of it.
At 19 I'm sure the kid was out of school, his whole life in front of him.
I had to wake my kid up when I got home and have a 5 minute hug.
All I know is I don't EVER want to know what it feels like to get news about my child like that.
