Here’s the initial short video I took of the deer.
At first you can see another deer off to the left of you look hard then this fawn appears from thin air from the right.
I quit videoing right before the fawn got a couple steps away from my dog.

So This is my sweet boy Ranger.
He’s actually a great deer tracker too.
He’s led me to every downed deer I needed to find in the dark and he will take me to all the deer beds when we go scouting.
If we jump a deer he won’t give chase.
He’s also gentle enough to be a therapy dog and knows his own strength.
If there’s a guest visiting he will sleep at the foot of their bed to guard them.
He guards our grand kids and if there’s a baby in the house he will follow them around to guard them.
He will lay on his back and take all their abuse .
i have video of my 10 mo old grand baby poking his open mouth and teeth while he’s on his back wagging tail and smiling.
He will sit on his butt and gently rest his paws on your skin and lightly touches you so he doesent scratch you with his nails, look you in the eye with total love....lol.

That’s a damn good dog! More likely a gift from an angel. Aliens just wanna probe!
