We need more “doe days” I think !!

People can shoot a lot (10+) of does. The problem is a lot of folks only want to shoot a big buck. Meanwhile deer are damaging crops and cars at an alarming rate.

A couple weeks ago my Grandson and Grand daughter were headed home and went around a curve and saw a couple cows on the side of the road and then a huge one a few yards was in the middle of the road, they hit it, went off the road and rolled on it's side. Luckily neither of them was hurt bot totaled the truck. Of course no one claimed the cattle, killed 2 and injured several more. I told my son to go get his cattle trailer and come start loading them up if nobody claims them, get some of your money back.

I’m glad your better half is ok. That’s what’s important. Saying that I hit one in a Bronco 2 a few years back that totaled the Bronco. I was sick about it I loved my Bronco. The good thing is I bought my first Jeep Wrangler and have had one since

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately animals don't discriminate on what cars they choose to take out. I hope everything comes out on the insurance into their liking that in itself can be a very frustrating process not to mention losing the truck in the accident. At least everybody was okay that's the most important part.

Dang, sorry to hear that. Wife and I were on our way home from dinner last night and on the main Street of Toccoa (Big A) of all places a dog ran out and clipped the side of my wife's Bronco. Saw the thing roll, get up and keep running. I'm hoping it found a nice quiet place to pass because it definitely wasn't alright based on what I had to fix.

My wife has hit a few over the years.

She works for some folks that live off Cedar creek rd here in Coweta county. It's like a whackamole game over there at night ☹️

I came thru there a few years back and there was half a deer in the ditch and half a deer thru a windshield.

So a deer ran out in front of the wife this morning when she was on the way to work , of course it messed up her SUV.
She smacked the crap out of it…. bad deal all the way around. Pissed her off, she likes her Cherokee .
So…to the body shop it will go. I haven’t seen it yet.
Being as I am not allowed to drive because of the seizure thing, I can’t do crap but just sit here !! We have a few other vehicles she can drive for a while. I have two trucks and we have an older Caprice that works too. On top of all that there is rental coverage on the insurance.
Hopefully it won’t take that long or much to fix it.
I am just glad she is ok and nobody got hurt. I think it could have been way worse. Crap happens !!

I wish they would move those deer crossing signs to less populated areas so it reduce the collision rates...

Wait till rut kicks in. They won’t stop and look both ways then. Bad enough now. Hope all goes well with repairs.
