Define shooter buck in your opinion

What do you consider a shooter buck? Are you a meat hunter or horn hunter? This sometimes sways an individual’s opinion. What say you?

I will start. I classify a shooter buck as one at least 3 1/2 years old but preferably 4 1/2 years old. Those are generally harder to see in Georgia. I normally shoot does for meat. I think this boy is at least 3 1/2 but keep thinking 4 1/2. Brisket is dropped and a pop gut. He doesn’t have a sway back like a 5 1/2 year old but he’s gonna catch heat if he comes by me

Legal, it's down. I hunt for meat. I also don't use feeders, or any fancy camo or scents.

Those are definitely hard to come by nowadays. I get that itchy finger and something totes it

My hunting club unfortunately legal regs. I got to many yahoos that will if I don't. Our family's farm is QDM. So its 8 points or above. I really don't care either way on bucks or doe. I tend to prefer younger doe's for the taste of the meat though
