Del-ton closing it's doors

It's the entire AR market but unfortunately for Delton, PSA was It's biggest competitor and PSA just did business better ( though I always thought Delton had a better product)
I had a 16" mid length upper from Del Ton on a KE Arms lower back during Covid. I only ran maybe two mags through it but it seemed fine. Wound up trading it off mostly because the heavy profile barrel was noticeably front heavy pinned to the KE monolithic poly lower.

Delton use to make parts for everyone, even some of the big names.

I have personally seen AR parts made and placed into the " appropriate " logo'd package....$50 price variance per label....same parts.

~cough~ I even had a lower parts kit box with a different label on each side if you unfolded it.

Never had an issue with Delton parts but as time and the industry moved on to better than mil-spec and in house production by a number of companies they have fallen by the way side.

I must admit, I thought Del-ton had gone years ago.

But it shouldn't be a surprise. Nor SCCY..

The economy isn't great. The demand for product has slumped since November. Lots of firms have significant inventory levels. They're building commodity products and don't have a lot to differentiate them from products built by one of their many other competitors.

What did I miss about SCCY? The last I heard they were doing some strategic downsizing but I haven't heard any recent updates.
Edit: I see that Sports South as zero SCCY in stock.
Lipsey's and Davidsons don't even have them listed anymore as an option to order.

They're done.
